The weather report called for blistering heat for the next several days in not only Hoenn, but most prefectures across the world. Summer was in full swing, and everybody was feeling the debilitating heat. Training sessions and more were expanded upon to utilize the sun for torturous amounts of heat exhaustion. Those Pokemon who were at risk of having adverse health due to the high temperatures were ordered to remain indoors under supervision. ALl of the grunts in Sootopolis appeared to be finding ways on how to beta the heat, but it was only one whom had decided to take matters into their own hands. [break][break]

But in the aquatic's training center, the exterior pool was emptied of the water, having been drained from its past use as training grunts for extreme weather circumstances. But one nifty face in the crowd had managed to pick the lock on the control section and operate the controls for the pool once more. [break][break]

"Got it." Aqua muttered to themselves and stuck their head out of the side room central to the aquatics center in the pool. Inside were various levers and valves that controlled different facets about the pool. The amount of water drained or pumped in, the amount remaining in the offsite reservoir and so on. But the most important one, temperature control, was freed from the tyranny of a locked control box. "Time to cool down..." They flipped the break and turned the pump on, and the temperature to about seventy percent of the way into the blue. [break][break]

While waiting for the pool to fill up, Aqua threw out all the pokeballs on their person. Resting on the edge came to be a Lapras, a Squirtle, a Tadbulb, and a Sneasel. All of which waited with great anticipation for the cool water to fill the pool. The owner of the team kept an eye over their shoulder in case somebody had come walking by, ready to explain how there had been an act of vandalism that most certainly wasn't him. [break][break]

After the longest ten minutes of their life thus far, Aqua's Pokemon flopped into the giant exterior aquatics pool and enjoyed the refreshing cold waters below. The Lapras dove down into the bottom of the deepest section, then resurfaced some time later. The Tabulb and Squirtle both remained busy by the edge as they raced to each side to determine who was the faster of the two. [break][break]

Aqua's Sneasler, however, would carry a pool floatie around its waist and was learning how to swim. With a soft murmur, it slowly tiptoed into the shallow section of the poor while Aqua quietly was teaching it how to properly swim. It was hesitant to practice this, though with the sea and ocean being where Aqua spent the majority of their time, such training was needed. [break][break]

If anyone did ask, that would be the main reason why they had went against permissions and activated the pool. Under the table, they needed an excuse to use the bigger pool of the two in Sootopolis. [break][break]
